EVENTS
Presenting before live, and often large, audiences is something I’ve always enjoyed. Over the years I’ve hosted and presented at hundreds of events, ranging from corporate functions and charity fundraising events, through to huge televised live events such as Carols in the Domain. I’m available to present or act as an MC/host for a variety of functions. Some of the events I’ve been involved with include:
Vet clinics and pet stores
I often make appearances and speak at openings and open days for pet retail outlets and veterinary clinics.
Corporate events
I’m a regular participant in product launches and other corporate events, speaking and conducting media interviews, often in the role of Brand Ambassador.
Border Collie Fun Day
I’m the organizer and host of annual Border Collie Fun Day which sees over 1,000 Border Collies and their owners travel from around the country to enjoy a day demonstrations, races, events, activities and information.
Local council events
Many local authorities hold annual pet information days. I regularly make celebrity appearances at events such as the Gold Coast Council Pet and Animal Expo, the largest event of its kind in Australia. My role can vary from live performances with The Wonderdogs, through to hosting and presenting.
Conference presentations
I’ve presented papers at veterinary and pet industry conferences and functions on a range of animal related topics.
Major public events
I hosted the live television broadcast of Carols In The Domain 3 years running, appearing before a live audience of up to 100,000 people and a huge TV viewing audience.
Children’s entertainment
The Wonderdogs and I regularly do school holiday shows that offer a combination of entertainment and education. I also enjoy doing talks to school children about responsible pet ownership and safety around pets.
Dog Lovers Show and Pet Expos
I travel around Australia to major pet events with dog trainer, Kelly Gill, and our team of highly trained Border Collies, The Wonderdogs, providing entertainment and education for the public.
Charity fundraising events
I’m an ambassador for several charities and a keen supporter of a range of animal welfare organizations. I regularly participate in charity events and fundraising activities.
